Making the Green Tea Ice Cream

For making that refreshing and delicious green tea ice cream, you need to follow some specific steps. We will discuss those steps clearly so that you can successfully follow our recommended steps and make your own green tea ice cream. Let’s Start!

Making-the-Green-Tea-Ice-Cream

Step – 1: Make the Mixture

Make the egg yolks separate from the egg whites. Add little water and sugar with the egg yolks and stir unless you make a perfect mixture.

First-Step-Make-the-Mixture

Step – 2: Make Custard

Now that you have completed making the mixture, you need to pour the mixture into a pan and start heating it up. Stir continuously to make a thick custard. Do not stop stirring. If you stop shaking, the egg will be cooked, and it will ruin the recipe. When you see the mixture is becoming solid, stop the heat.

Step – 3: Make the Matcha Mix

Now get the green tea powder or the matcha green tea and pour hot water into it. Stir gently to mix it with the water. Now, you will get the smell and look of green tea.

Third-Step-Make-the-Matcha-Mix

Step – 4: Green Tea Mix

Pour the matcha mix or powder green tea mix in the egg and sugar mixture. Whisk it heavily to make a perfect mix. Pour hot water and stir briskly. Now, get another bowl and pour cold water or some ice in it. Get the pot with the mixture and put it on the cold water/ice to cool the mixture down.

Forth-Step-Green-Tea-Mix

Step – 5: Add Cream

When the mixture gets cold, you have to add heavy whipped cream to it.  Stir well to mix the cream with the mixture.

Step – 6: Make the Ice Cream

Now, it’s time to make the green tea ice cream. Pour the previously made mixture to the ice cream maker. It’s simple and fun to form variously shaped ice cream with an ice cream maker. Follow the user instruction to use an ice cream maker. Now, keep the ice cream in the freezer for at least two hours. Do not worry, if you cannot manage an ice cream maker. It is easily possible to make ice creams without an ice cream maker. Let’s see how!

Sixth-Step-Make-the-Ice-Cream

One easy way to make colorful, variously sized ice cream is to use Popsicle molds. Popsicle molds are cheap and can be found in almost anywhere. If Popsicle mold is not an option then, pour the mixture into a large pot or a cake pan. Place the ice cream in the freezer and keep it there for 2 hours. Remove the container, mix it, break up any ice crystals if you found and put it back into the freezer again. This will be required for making creamier ice cream. Repeat this procedure until your ice cream is uniformly frozen.

Step – 7: Little More to Enjoy Your Ice Cream

Congratulations! You have finished making green tea ice cream. For making more delicious taste and added flavor, add some fruits, waffle sticks or cherries in the ice cream mix. This will enhance the taste and color of your green tea ice cream.

Final Words

Whether the season is summer or cold, you can always enjoy this particular green tea ice cream. The good thing is that you can prepare it and store it in your freezer. It can be the perfect light food you want while watching movies. For the replacement of afternoon snacks, this healthy ice cream can be an ideal choice. Take it as the dessert if you have invited some guests or friends for dinner. Moreover, with its healthy properties, it will enhance your life care for an efficient living.

Now, we believe you are capable of making your own green tea ice cream without much effort. We tried to explain the procedure more simply so that you can understand every part of it. Still, if you have any more questions about any delicious recipe like this one or ideas for other meat-based meals or tools, don’t hesitate to write to us.
